Become An Event SponsorThe James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship was founded in 2000 and named after James R. Hoffa, Teamsters General President from 1957 to 1971 and James P. Hoffa's father. The fund awards college scholarships to the sons, daughters and financial dependents of Teamster members. In addition, the fund awards scholarships to those planning to attend vocational/training programs in Teamster-represented industries. In 2021, the Fund awarded $1.2 million in scholarships to hundreds of sons, daughters and financial dependents of Teamsters.
